IN LOVING MEMORY

Arthur Alfred Cale

15 June 2025, aged 95. Raising funds to improve care for those living with dementia and life-limiting illness.

OUR STORY

Our Story

Our mission was inspired by my amazing granddad, Arthur Alfred Cale, who sadly passed away on 15th June 2025 at the great age of 95. Arthur was an amazing man who left a lasting effect on all of our lives. He was the kindest and bubbliest man you could meet.

In the last years of Arthur's life he became ill. He was driving until he was 93, and had his whole world taken from him. He fell into depression while receiving care and treatment. In his later years he received care from the community at home, however this care was not up to standard — and if he had received better care, he would have been happier, and may have prolonged his life.

OUR MISSION

Our Mission

Many families are affected by dementia, terminal illness, and the challenges of receiving quality care, whether at home, in residential care, or within nursing settings.

Our mission is to raise funds that improve the lives of those living with dementia and life-limiting illnesses, by supporting better care, safer environments, and compassionate services for both patients and their loved ones.

We believe everyone deserves dignity, comfort, joy, and safety in the final stages of life. Through community support, fundraising, and kindness, we aim to make that journey more peaceful and meaningful for every family.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, and all donations go directly to those in need.

“Because better care should never be a privilege — it should be a right.”
